I got into the shower the other day, and was minding my business when my 5 year old daughter graced me with her presents. She needed to use my "potty" because the other was occupied. She was just staring at me and making me very nervous! I said "what do you need Giorge?" She looked at me as if she were thinking really hard what to say. In the sweetest voice she could muster, she said, "Mom, you look very pretty with clothes on!" In other words, Mom, get dressed!
The other day, the kids and I were at Walmart getting items for something and CJ said,"Mom, you know in the morning when you're ugly..." noticing my reaction, quickly changing it to..."and then you get pretty again?" I being the mature woman that I am, was not quick to react. Instead, I gave him the silent treatment through out the whole store and all the way home!!! See, I am a grown up! Good Mommy!
There seems to be some sort of pattern developing here and it is time to take evasive action. I have a solution. I NEED MORE BEAUTY SLEEP!
